INTRODUCTION: Actuarial day is an annual event which act as a platform for dialogue between Actuarial Science Students, Actuarial alumni, Insurance companies, Social Security schemes, financial services providers and other Risk management stakeholders. The companies and organizations attending will present on how actuarial services contribute to effective management and what job opportunities a holder of an Actuarial Science degree can expect to find with those companies. Actuarial students will also have a chance to present to the risk management stakeholders on different products that will be prepared for the event day. The aim is to find a way to exploit the possible mutual benefits, in terms of career and employment, between Actuarial Science students and the Risk Management stakeholders. In April 29 2017,we had our fifth career day, it was an excellent opportunity for students, graduates, stakeholders, companies to come together with an ambition to develop, explore new  skills, technical expertise to take the actuarial profession to greater heights. Our Patron, University of Dar es Salaam Mathematics Department did  a grand Opening of the event by explaining on UDSM Actuarial Programme. The head of Department, Prof E Mureithi had the honor.
