The Networking Day 2019

As it is our custom, Networking Day is a special day that welcomes actuarial science freshers to ASSAUD. It’s a day that people have an opportunity to interact with each other and also giving students an opportunity to interact with Alumni sharing with them experience and views not only about Actuarial science but also with some other issues about life and opportunities in general.

Actuarial Networking Day 2019.

On 30th November 2019, we had our Networking Event. The massive celebration featured ASSAUD members, Alumni and fellow Actuarial students from IFM, at South Beach Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. All of us came together to share knowledge and experience about the current actuarial perspective in Tanzania.

We incorporated sports and games such as beach soccer, cards and swimming to make the event more fun and enhance interaction. This fun part was all about refreshing, making room for students to interact among themselves, and more importantly with the alumni.

As the sun went down, we gathered for dinner. As dinner went along, alumni gave their views about different actuarial related matters like the road to become an actuary, actuarial exams and the current actuarial job market.

 Recent Actuarial graduate shared widely their experience about different matters concerning job recruitment in Actuarial field and opportunities associated with Actuarial field and moreover giving their views about the crucial skillsets any actuarial student should have.
